Antelope Playing

A short drive day (98 miles), to Boulder, half way between Rock Springs, where we left I-80 and Coulter Bay in the Tetons.
Cattle ranching in Wyoming.

Abattoir time.

Not too far out of Rock Springs, on Highway 191, we began to see antelope.

Wyoming landscape.

Sometimes we would see just one antelope.

I wonder how many acres the average ranch has? Sometimes you can't even see any ranch buildings. Just a long road off the highway.

Looks pretty lonesome out here.

Plenty of room for grazing.

Wind River Mountains in the distance.

Most of the time, though, we saw small herds of antelope.

They don't seem to like ...

having their picture taken.

We must have seen a hundred of these beautiful creatures.

Boulder, Wyoming, population 83, at the base of the Wind River Mountains and...

the Highline Trail RV park.
