Smoke and Clouds

We left Jasper this morning and drove down to Redstreak Campground in Kootney National Park, 224 miles. It was drizzling and cloudy the whole way with periods of rain. I'm glad we have seen all these mountains in clear weather so it was't too bad that most of what we saw today was obscured by clouds and forest fire smoke.

Please enjoy some of today's sights, courtesy of Frederick's photography.

Athabasca Glacier

Crowfoot Glacier

Driving up to Redstreak Campground in Kooteney we were greeted by the resident herd of big-horned sheep

I think we have a picture of this guy in this same pose from two months ago. It sure doesn't seem like its been two months since we were last here.

There were also several deer that shyly took to the woods when we approached.

Tomorrow we're back in the USA. We got out our passports and are ready to return!
