In safe hands

We had anticipated that we would need to get up early so that we could be out of the Airstream by 8am when the staff gets here to begin work. We had unhitched late yesterday afternoon, but it still was a shock when I looked up from my oatmeal to see the tractor being backed up to the Airstream prior to hauling it away to the garage bay. Frederick stuck his head out the door and told the tractor operator that we would need 5 more minutes. "No problem", was the reply. We quickly finished up our breakfast and grabbed what we would need for the day and as we stepped out the door the tractor was back.

After reviewing the list of issues with the service manager we had a few questions that they suggested that Andy would have to answers. Andy invited us back, through the shop, to the far bay where Charlie was working on our Airstream.

Leaving the Airstream in good hands, we drove into London to visit the local CAA, Canada Automobile Association, to get our next supply of travel guides now that we are leaving New England and the Canadian Maritime Provinces.

The nearest CAA branch was at the Cherryhill Mall where there was a branch of the London Public Library. We went into the branch, for old times sake, and I even asked a question - where is the nearest supermarket. I was given a strange look because right at the end of the Mall was a large supermarket. I quickly assured her, with a smile, that we were from South Dakota.

Right next door to the library branch was the CAA office. Nichole quickly provided us with the tour books that we would need for traveling the Great River Road. For New England and the Canadian Maritime Provinces there was one book. For the Great River Road there are eight books and ten maps. The Mississippi goes through quite a few states.
