Table Mountain

Table Mountain beckoned this afternoon and it was a perfect day for hiking.

Table Mountain to the east of the campground.

Frederick surveying the surrounding mountains and plains after reaching the top.

Looking west toward the campground.

On top of Table Mountain.

An isolated grouping of stone monoliths from the top.

A picture using the telephoto lens shows that there are camping sites among the rocks.

Broad plain looking north.

Frederick (lower left corner) descending toward the lower ridge, just below the top of Table Mountain.

Today's hike:
Length - 5.4 miles
Duration - 2 hours, 34 minutes
Elevation gain - 600 feet (64 floors on the Fitbit)

  1. How warm does it get during the day? I notice you're still in long sleeves.
