Wandering in Wyoming

We began the day's drive in Wyoming traveling through some pretty, rolling countryside although there is definitely the feeling that we are at a high elevation, which we are - 6,000 - 7,000 feet.
The road seems to go ever on and on...

As we drove over one pass, we entered a cloud and travelled about ten miles in the fog.

Then, just a suddenly, we drove over the crest of the pass and out of the fog. Notice the patches of snow on the hills.

Most of the rest of the drive was through these wide, open spaces which...

allowed for this posted speed limit.

As we got closer to Rock Springs, the view was a bit more rugged with even some patches of blue sky.

  1. So how fast can you (safely) drive while towing an airstream?

  2. We always keep our speed down - 55 on busy highways and 60 on wide open roads.
