The Three Airstreams

Taking care off business.  Today we drove to Rhode Island to get a few necessary items dealt with.  First stop was at Viti Automotive Services where a few car issues were dealt with, and they washed the car, which had several states worth of dirt accumulated on it. Then it was a fast drive over to Warwick where we both got our teeth cleaned. After, we drove into Providence, to the Providence Mall Apple Store, for a little One To One.

This is Liz, my trainer, who agreed to have her picture taken so that we could use it to help solve some problems I was having with iPhoto.

The Apple Store in the Providence Place Mall.

Frederick offering up his greeting for a photo to test the geographic location setting.

Lia still smiling at the end of my session.

I have gotten to know a number of trainers at the Apple Store since I have been to One To One sessions so many times, and they know all about our travel plans. Bill, another trainer told this man, Robert Izzo, about our traveling and at the end of our session he came up to us to talk about our Airstreaming and to encourage us to visit Austin, Texas, where he is from.  He was a great guy to talk to and he really loves Austin.

Today is the start of the World Cup Soccer tournament in Brazil.  It used to be that the Three Tenors - Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, and Jose Carerras - soccer lovers all, got together every 5 years in the host country to give a concert together. These concerts were recorded and since I'm an opera lover, I really enjoyed these performances.  Of course, Luciano Pavarotti is no longer with us so in honor of these three mega-voices, my contribution is --- The Three Airstreams.

We rarely ever see an Airstream in any of the campgrounds where we are staying, but in this campground tonight, there are three.

This one is about three rows away from us and we can barely see it from our campsite.  They came in about 15 minutes after we arrived on Wednesday.

This one, of older vintage, came in today and they are right behind us to the right.

And here we are.  This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have stayed in.  There is plenty of separation between sites and the sites are mostly level, a critical consideration.

Here's one of those cute cabins. About an hour after I took this picture someone moved into this cabin.

The name of this campground is Boston Minuteman Campground.

Our front is on Flintlock Road, and our rear is on Revolutionary Ridge.

  1. So glad you like the campground closest to me, it really would be a shame for you to say it was one of the worst!

  2. I wonder how Rhode Island felt to you after having been gone for a while?
