Sleeping on the table

Jacob stayed overnight with us last night.  Unlike a lot of RV's that have lots of options for sleeping, in our Airstream, because we have the recliners, there is only our queen-sized bed and the dinette that converts into a good-sized twin bed. Last night we lowered the dinette table onto the two benches, refitted the back and bench cushions to provide a nicely padded space, laid out Jacob's sleeping bag, and, Viola!, a space for a grandchild to sleep.

This morning we hitched-up, Kathryn came over at 9 am, and we went to the local breakfast spot.

As you can see, it was a beautiful day and Jacob survived his night on the table.

We are now in London, Ontario, Canada. This lovely maple leaf is at the border crossing.

Along with this pine cone sculpture.

Lake Ontario out of the window.
