It's Windsday, Pooh!

One of the pictures in the Airstream Catalog shows two blue arrows sliding up and over the side of an  Airstream to show the "superior crosswind deflection" of the trailer design and we were sure glad that was the case today.  Since yesterday there has been a fair amount of wind from the southwest and all along the Tamiami Trail (Route 41), particularly in open stretches, we felt its force; 30 - 35 mile per hour wind. We usually tow at 55 mph but today it was 50 mph in protected areas and 45 in the open. But we didn't have far to go and we were at our new campground by 2pm.

For the next seven days we will be parked at the Larry & Penny Thompson Memorial Park & Campground in south Miami.  Its close to Homeland, FL, and a lot of places we want to see.

New home for the coming week.
