We just returned from the Easter Vigil service in Duncanville, Texas, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. It began at 8 p.m. and didn't conclude until after 11. It was an interesting parish and perhaps the most diverse one we've seen.
We went back through Dallas this afternoon to do some shopping on the north side of the city. This is Dallas' Reunion Tower next to the Hyatt Hotel, which is all mirrored glass. Wolfgang Puck has a rotating restaurant at the top of the Tower.
It was a beautiful spring day and this pink bunny on a gas station was a cherry sight.

There were sixteen baptisms; half adults, half children.
These folks really knew they were baptized.
There were an additional sixteen to twenty that were confirmed. No wonder it was after 11 p.m. There was a relaxed feeling at the church - very nice.
