Kootenay National Park

We drove away from Banff this morning, in the rain, with newly fallen snow on the mountains surrounding this beautiful town. It was cold, in the upper 30s, so I guess it was time to head south. Which we did - to Kootenay National Park - and we are now located in the Redstreak Campground just outside of Radium Hot Springs.

It was raining here, too, so after un-hitching, we stayed inside and I did some baking and Frederick worked on nursing along our Mi-Fi, trying to get a few more days from the failing device. Internet reception here is not the best we have seen - it took over 10 minutes to upload one picture into the blog -  so I'm not sure what the blog posts will be like for the next two days. But, we have found two potentially great hikes in Kootenay and we are anxious to hit the trail tomorrow and Sunday.

No pictures from todays so I'm including a selfie that we took on Wednesday, the marathon day. We are at the waterfall below Lake Agnes and have already hiked about 10 miles.
