Protected pipes and clean clothes

It was a prep day, tomorrow morning we hitch up and travel 247 miles to Grand Prairie, Alberta, a long driving day for us. It will probably take us a while too, because it will not be on freeway! We went into Jasper and did laundry and then stopped at the hardware store where Frederick bought some split pipe foam insulation to put on our exposed (under the Airstream) gas lines. That should protect them from any loose stones on the Alaskan highway.

I don't have any interesting pictures to post from today (how many laundromats do you want to see?) so I just went outside and took a few of our campsite in Whistlers Campground in Jasper National Park.

It's a beautiful site, private and with some trees, and maybe you can imagine elk grazing around the Airstream.

The "business" side of the Airstream.
