Saints

We started out this morning in Saint Andrews, travelled through Saint John and this evening we are in Saint Martins. The Saints go marching in!

The trip today began in the sunshine, but about twenty miles into it the fog rolled in. But, as you can see from the pictures below, the weather cleared somewhat, and this evening the sun actually came out from behind the fog and clouds.

Another million dollar view from our campground. This is the Bay of Fundy looking to the right.

The Bay of Fundy is know for the huge swing in the tide levels.  The view above is right across from the campground to the left. Those dark spots right at the water line are caves. At low tide you can walk on the Bay floor right into the caves.

The view along the beach about 100 feet from our site. No sand, but a lot of pretty rocks.

Right in the middle of the picture are the caves.

Cabins at the campground. Love the saturated colors.

There are two sections to this campground. Right between the two is a cemetery.  I have never camped in a cemetery before.

For the past couple of days we have been following the weather coverage of the developing hurricane, Arthur.  It is supposed to hit here on Saturday and affect mostly Nova Scotia.  Our original plans had us traveling to Nova Scotia on Saturday, but we have decided to stay here another day and travel to Nova Scotia on Sunday.  I'm glad we have the flexibility, our only firm date is the ferry from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland on Wednesday, July 9th.  I'm sure the weather will be glorious by then!
