Boy, old habits die hard. After a late morning appointment in East Providence, we went to Sam's Club in Seekonk, our old hang-out. I had made a list before we went, checking the ingredients for the soups, and knew just what we needed, including fresh fruits and vegetables. When we got into the store we wanted to stock up on groceries. But, our new mantra is -
Just in time,
not,
Just in case. Which means we only get what we need when we need it, not just
in case we might need it. It was easy in the house to buy in bulk and store items away until we needed them, but with just the Airstream and the Benz, although they are roomy and we feel we have plenty of space, we don't want to be hauling around items that we don't need now. Just before we checked-out, we went around the store and put several items back on the shelf.
After our appointment in East Providence we stopped by the bike path and ate our lunch with the skyline of Providence for our view.
We had read on another Airstream blog that a welcome item to have when the weather turns colder is a heated mattress pad. As we were cruising the aisles of Sam's Club we spotted one and we thought we would give it a try.
Out bed with the new electric mattress pad.
