Drive from Prince George to Williams Lake, BC

We were one of the last Airstreams to leave the RV park this morning - heading home. In our case that's the open road. There are 2  Caravaners that are staying an extra day, just to catch up on some chores before they head home. Actually, the 2 that stayed are also full-timers. We got a start around 12:30 p.m. because this morning we went into town to get two new rear tires put on the Benz. The Alaskan roads really shredded tires. There were many, many flat tires, more than a dozen, on the Caravan but, fortunately, we didn't have that experience.

Today we traveled through Cariboo Valley and the beginning of the Fraser Canyon.

We continue to chase the fall and we travel south.

This is a big logging area with each town having a logging mill. These huge logging trucks were passing through Quesnel as we were going in the other direction.

In addition to logging, agriculture is beginning in a big way.

We know that because here is our first sighting of a center-pivot irrigation system.
