We're a few hours late in getting the August 9th blog out - in fact, it's August 10th and the alarm rang at 6 am.
Yesterday was chore day as we're getting ready to move from Whistler's Campground, Jasper, where we have been for 2 weeks. So, between the downpours, we did laundry, went grocery shopping, and tried to remember how to "hitch up".
In a few minutes we will be leaving for Yoho National Park, scene of Takaka Falls, where we will try to score a first-come-first-served campsite. We have a reservation at Radium Hot Springs, the Redstreak Campground, but that's a little too far, on the edge of the National Parks, and there are still a number of hikes that we want to do closer to Lake Louise and Banff.
If we do get a campsite in Yoho, I'm not sure what the internet service will be, if any, so if we go blank for the next few days, we'll catch up later.
Our love to everyone - enjoy the last few weeks of summer!
